POLYTEK is especially effective for customers who work hard with their hands or have “problem” nails and need a stronger product with excellent adhesion to the natural nail. POLYTEK's higher viscosity makes it a pleasure to sculpt extensions and advanced nail shapes. POLYTEK is compatible with dual-forms.
HEMA-free
Although POLYTEK is not hypoallergenic, it is HEMA-free. This makes POLYTEK especially useful as an alternative to HEMA-based acrylic monomer systems.
New Formula
All POLYTEK produced after 1st July 2024 has a new formulation. If you have existing allergies, we recommend that you check the ingredients below before purchasing this colour.

The items you need are:
- X7 or X7+ Dehydrator and pH Equalizer, 15ml
- Bonder: X10 Air dry
- PRIMA Base & Builder gel polish, 15ml
- Polytek gel, 60ml
- PRIMA Shine Like A Diamond Non Wipe Top gel polish, 15ml
- X8 Finishing Wipe (also use as slip liquid)
Application method:
- Prepare the nail bed
- Apply X7 dehydrator
- Apply bonder: X10 Air dry
- Apply a layer of PRIMA Base & Builder gel polish. Cure in the UV/LED lamp for 30 seconds.
- Cut the required ball of Polytek with spatula, apply on the nail surface
- Use X8 liquid to wet the brush and act as slip solution
- Use the POLYTEK brush to spread the POLYTEK with damp (not too wet) brush on the nail
- Cure for 60 seconds in LED lamp or 3 min in UV-lamp
- Wipe-off the sticky layer using X8
- Apply the PRIMA Shine Like A Diamond Non Wipe Top gel polish.

This bright white is noticeably different to work with compared to other colours. It's much easier to squeeze out of the tube for starters! It's really easy to work so you can get it into really fine points at the side walls when doing classic french nails.
Owing to the density of pigment you need to remember to cure it for longer and I found it helpful to cure the underside once more after having removed the forms.
With such a high pigment to gel medium ratio I expected it might wear down easily but after two weeks of general abuse all I can see is a very slight rounding out of the pointed almond shape on the thumb of my dominant hand. Barely noticeable and I only used Prima top coat to seal it.
