PRIMA Express Base & Top is a combined base and top coat with an incredibly fast soak-off time of between 5 to 7 minutes - possibly the fastest pure-gel.gel polish soak-off time available and faster than some hybrid gel polishes.

It can be applied thinly without running into the sidewalls, offers high adhesion for long durability and a high-gloss, non-wipe-off shine. 

Express Base & Top can be used with NOVA gel polish colours and also with PRIMA gel polish colours.

HEMA-Free

PRIMA Express Base & Top is not hypoallergenic because it contains Hydroxypropyl Methacrylate (HPMA). However, it is HEMA-free and also free of acids that can cause onycholyis. We therefore do not recommend PRIMA Express Base & Top for those with HPMA allergy or unknown ingredient allergies, and recommend using PRIMA Base & Builder or the NOVA Rubber Bases instead.

UV Lamp Cure times

• SIRIUS UV/LED lamp: 90 seconds

The items you need are:

• NOVA Base & Shine or NOVA Rubber Base
• NOVA colour gel polish
• NOVA Top gel polish (there are several choices) or PRIMA Shine Like A Diamond non-wipe top gel polish
• X8 Cleanser & Sanitizer

Method: NOVA Base & Shine

1. Prepare the nail as usual and buff to remove shine
2. Apply NOVA Base & Shine. One thin layer. Cure 90 seconds in the SIRIUS-48W LED/UV lamp
3. Apply the NOVA colour gel polish. Apply like a gel and push towards Proximal Nail Fold (cuticle). Carefully drag down to free-edge to ensure good coverage there. Cure 90 seconds
4. Apply a second NOVA colour coat if needed and cure.
5. Apply the NOVA Base & Shine as a top coat. Cure 90 seconds and wipe to remove inhibition layer using X8.
