My name is Alison Pilkington and I’m the Educator for IKON.iQ Nails in Kent and East Sussex. Based in Staplehurst, a few miles south of Maidstone, my venue is approximately:

• 18 miles from Rochester, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells or Ashford
• 29 miles from Hastings or Dartford
• 39 miles from Lewes, Eastbourne, Canterbury or Whitstable
• 47 miles from Dover or Margate

South Eastern trains also stop at Staplehurst, the station is a 25 minute walk from the salon.

I offer classes from beginners to advanced, in-salon training and also 1 to 1. All courses are fully ABT accredited and insured for full industry recognition.

I have 28 years experience in adult education in a variety of settings, delivering set content such as Open University courses, vocational NVQ’s and Local Authority certificates to producing tailor made training material for small businesses in the hospitality sector and in Heath and Safety risk assessment.

Since deciding to take my interest in nails from hobby to pro status, I’ve had the great fortune to meet so many talented teachers and advisors. Having always predominantly been successfully self-employed I firmly believe that the key to success is knowledge. Learn everything, and then learn some more and I very much look forward to helping you along on your own learning journey!
