NOVA Extension Builder gel polish has been developed to make it easy for you to create nail strengthening overlays and nail extensions up to 1cm free edge. Extension Builder applies beautifully without running into the sidewalls and  delivers high adhesion with flexibility and strength for +4 weeks wear times. 

Hypoallergenic

NOVA Extension Builder is hypoallergenic and is an ideal match with the hypoallergenic NOVA colours and top gel polishes. It can also be used with the PRIMA hypoallergenic gel polish colours

UV Lamp Cure times

• SIRIUS UV/LED lamp: 90 seconds

• Aliphatic Urethane Acrylate
• Isopropylidenediphenyl Bisoxyhydroxypropyl Acrylate
• Benzyl methacrylate
• Trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate (CAS. 3290-92-4)
• Methacryloylethyl Phosphate
• Urethanacrylat Oligomer

• Methyl Benzoylformate

The items you need are:

• IKON.IQ X7 Dehydrator & pH Equalizer
• NOVA Extension Builder
• NOVA or PRIMA colour gel polish
• NOVA Base & Top gel polish, NOVA Base 6 Shine or PRIMA Shine Like A Diamond non-wipe top

Method: NOVA Extension Builder

1. Prepare the nail as usual and buff to remove shine
2. Apply X7 Dehydrator (not usually required)
3. Apply NOVA Extension Builder in a thin layer. Cure 90 seconds (60S + 30S) in the SIRIUS-48W LED/UV lamp
4. Apply the nail forms if required
5. Add a second coat of NOVA Extension Builder as required for overlays or to build the nail extensions. Cure for 90 Seconds. 
6. Apply the NOVA or PRIMA colour gel polish. Apply like a gel and push towards Proximal Nail Fold (cuticle). Carefully drag down to free-edge to ensure good coverage there. Cure 90 seconds
7. Apply a second NOVA or PRIMA colour coat if needed and cure.
8. Apply the top coat - here you can use NOVA Base & Top, NOVA Base & Shine, PRIMA Shine Like A Diamond, PRIMA Matt top or one of the NOVA Eggshell tops.
9. Cure 90 seconds and wipe to remove inhibition layer using X8.
