The PRIMA Extension Builder has been developed to allow you to create nail extensions up to 1 cm in length. It can also be used for nail strengthening. This is a low viscosity clear builder gel that can be removed by soaking-off or filing. It is also possible to infill. For most salon clients, you can expect +4 weeks wear time.
The IKON.iQ PRIMA gel polishes are a new technological innovation developed by our laboratories. Using a totally new pigmentation chemistry developed by our chemist, the PRIMA gel polishes only require one colour layer and yet have a natural thin look without distorting the nail shape.
PRIMA is a 3-step system consisting of a Base, colour and Top gel polish. This produces thin-looking nails that are chip-free for 4 weeks and that have an incredible shine.
Hypoallergenic
PRIMA are hypoallergenic and do not contain HEMA Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate, (HPMA (Hydroxypropyl Methacrylate) or other higher risk ingredients. This means that PRIMA is a good solution to avoid allergies, but is also happily used by many Nail Technicians who developed allergies from other brands products.

The items you need are:
- X7 Dehydrator and pH Equalizer, 15ml
- X10 Air dry bonder
- PRIMA Extension Builder gel polish, 15ml
- PRIMA colour gel polish, 15ml
- PRIMA Shine Like A Diamond non-wipe top gel polish, 15ml
- X8 Cleanser & Sanitizer, 125ml or 400ml
Method
- Prepare the nail as usual
- Apply X7 to dehydrate
- Apply X10 bonder (primer)
- Apply PRIMA Extension Builder. Apply a thin layer, cure for 30 seconds and then a second layer to build the nail.
- Apply the PRIMA colour. One layer. Apply like a gel and push towards Proximal Nail Fold. Carefully drag down to free-edge to ensure good coverage there. Cure 30 seconds
- Apply PRIMA Shine Like A Diamond top, thin layer. Wipe excess from brush and nail. Cure 30 seconds.
