Nail Salon Dust & Fume Extraction
FAQ
AIRCOM-ONE systems feature advanced 3-fold filter technology to laboratory standard: a patented magnetic pre-filter for coarse particles, a high-performance main filter with activated carbon coating, and an additional activated carbon filter for maximum odour neutralisation.
The S850 has dual fans delivering 850 m³/h capacity (effective ~530 m³/h at the grille with all filters), plus a 3-filter system including an extra activated carbon fume filter. The S425 has a single fan at 425 m³/h and a 2-filter system. Both use the same patented pre-filter technology.
The S850 delivers 850 m³/h motor output and a real effective suction of approximately 530 m³/h measured at the support grille with all three filters installed. In a typical 25 m² salon room, the air is completely filtered roughly 8.8 times per hour.
AIRCOM-ONE systems operate at approximately 62–66 dB, comparable to a normal conversation — quiet enough for a comfortable salon environment for both technician and client.
Built-in models (S850, S425) install permanently under your workstation table for a seamless, professional setup. Mobile models (S850 Mobile, S425 Mobile) include an ergonomic armrest attachment and can be moved between stations or taken to events.
Remove the filter carefully, place it inside a fresh rubbish bag, hold the bag closed and tap out the dust. Then knock the filter out more thoroughly outdoors. Do not use a household vacuum cleaner — AIRCOM-ONE filters have a higher filtration grade than most vacuums. Never clean filters with water. The activated carbon filter can be gently blown out with compressed air if needed.
For hygienic reasons, both filters should be replaced after 12 months at the latest. Depending on how busy your salon is, you may choose to replace them sooner. Always inspect filters and seals for damage and replace immediately if any is found. Genuine AIRCOM-ONE replacement filters are available right here on ikoniqnails.com.
Every AIRCOM-ONE dust extraction system comes with an industry-leading 8-year manufacturer's warranty on top of the standard 2-year statutory warranty — covering parts and manufacturing defects. Filters and consumable parts are excluded, as these require regular replacement as part of normal maintenance.

Nail dust contains fine particles that can cause respiratory irritation, headaches and long-term health issues for both technicians and clients. Chemical fumes from acrylics, gels and solvents add further risk. A professional extraction system removes these hazards at source, protecting everyone in the salon.
Choose the S850 if you perform frequent acrylic or gel services, need maximum fume extraction, or work in a larger studio. Choose the S425 if you primarily do gel polish or natural nail services, have a smaller workspace, or need a more compact and budget-friendly solution. Both models deliver professional-grade filtration.
